CNN iReport - World's most fascinating places

CNN iReport Global Challenge lists Eritrea among the 10 most fascinating places to visit.

 In March of 2009, Railway enthusiast George Hart ventured off to Eritrea to experience the highly acclaimed Eritrean railways, to which he reported back to CNN as being "one of the most spectacular in the world" and an "unforgettable experience".

Hart also stated that he greatly enjoyed his time in the Eritrean capital of Asmara and described it as being an "immaculate city", with "not a scrap of litter to be found"(CNN). He further highlighted that Asmara is "extremely clean, maybe cleaner than many cities in Europe"(CNN).

Asmara is widely acclaimed for being one of the safest, and cleanest cities on Earth. Tourism in Eritrea has substantially increased over the years, with 2010 seeing some of the largest numbers.
