Human Right Commison President and his Uncalled for Behavior

Human Right Commison President and his Uncalled for Behavior
June 27, 2015
By Haile Abraham
By now we all have heard about all that baseless Comission of Inquiry report, but here I would like to draw a special attention to the Human Rights Council (HRC) 29th Regular Session of Human Rights Council Interactive Dialogue on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, chaired by Joachim Rücker, President of the Human Rights Council, 9th Cycle (2015)

As a President of Human Rights Council (HRC) and a Chair of the Interactive Dialogue, I find it very disturbing that this person found enough time during the session to exhibited a hidden hostilitly towards Eritrea, its government and its people and a racist tendecy toward the balck race.
Exhibit #1: Just before the session started the President/Chair informed the floor that members of the COI “have been subjected to various threats and acts of intimidation in their hotel and the streets since their arrival in Geneva.” Furthermore, he continued saying that security in the area had been doubled and that he would further investigate and present his findings in the future.
Personally I find this to be absolutely the lowest form of systematically belittling and insulting the thousands brave Eritreans who flooded Geneva to protest against his garbage.  This new allegation is an open attack on the people of Eritrea in the Diaspora because there is no doubt that it was mentioned to make the gallant Eritreans look like some sort of thugs or street gangs.  It is obvious that the President and his cohorts, who quickly rushed to expressed their “concern” about this new allegation during their 5-minute presentation, could not swallow the fact that so many brave children of Eritrea can organize themselves in such a short period of time and challenge them in front of their Headquarter.  They couldn’t swallow the fact that Eritreans will always fight and defend their hard-earned freedom and independence wherever they are and against whomever he is.
Exhibit # 2:  After he rudely interrupted the Eritrean Delegate while addressing the newly announced “harassment” allegation at the end of his presentation, the President had the audacity to rudely admonish the Eritrean delegate for using words such as “ignorant” “sinister political agenda” and “travesty of justice,” which he said were not “adequate for this council.”
This is so close to being absurdly funny because, in a sense, the President was trying to insult and embarrass the Eritrean government for using words that are not “adequate for this council” but words such as “slavery,” “rape” and “torture,” which were extensively used throughout the COI report, are accepted and “adequate for this council.” These words are not only an insult to Eritrea but also derogatory and racist in nature and absolute attack on the entire black people who had been, and continue to be, enslaved by the white European people.
The President chose to show his true nature in unorthodox way, but this goes to show the basic principle and tenet by which his organization functions.

  2. The anger of Criminals in United Nations and indirectly of United States is understandable.
It was the best calendar year of 1991 where the UN/US lost the game of keeping Eritrea under their rule using their Ethiopian puppets. Thank God for EPLF that Eritrea was born again.
There is nothing they can do to stop us from marching to our destined place. The human traffickers and the so called opposition have more power than the criminals of UN & US.

  4. Was there truly a case of intimidation against the reporters? I never heard of that. Perhaps there were one or two individuals that crossed the line, but most of the 2000 Eritreans were spirited, defiant but above all respectfull towards the people of and in Geneva.

  5. These folks are nothing but hired CIA mercenaries who committed untold amount of crimes against humanity. The UN is the causes of 70 years of Eritrean suffering.
Where was the UN its human rights advocates when 800,000 Rwandans got slaughtered? The UN and its sponsors evacuated, abandoned Rwandans at the hands of the Interahamwe militia that were armed by western powers

  6. Photoshop warriors, your level of consciousness is really scary, are you coming for us?
On a serious note, please use your time and energy to build your resume, perhaps the corner print shop may have a vacancy. What an embarrassment!

  8. What the Human Rights Commission and it's exalted emmisarries are trying to say is that Askaris are nothing more than thugs and that was proven from their behavior in Geneva. Askaris have not been trained by their Italian masters well enough to speak with dignity and diplomatic panache at International Forums. "Who let the Askaris out of the kitchen and cow herding in the first place??" This translation comes free of charge. You're welcome.

  10. The article itself is telling us that. That was their intention with those false allegations. To paint us as thugs and gangsters and here you're, you idiot confirming that for us. One way are we really "thug-life" though and that's in turning you and your likes into fertilizer.

  16. The UN Human rights council is a toothless dog. UN Security Council and the ICC are different bodies and Eritrea's case ending up there could mean more differences, but the UN HRC is nothing. Their recommendations and cries go into one ear and leave from the other. Goodluck Sheila with your 15 minutes of fame. Your job is now done and you can go back to wherever you came from.

  21. "soon we will change the game.."? Who's "we"? Issayas and his Askaris? With what army?

    ReplyDelete
  22. It is the Askaris... those that failed to make it to Geneva that are now fertilizers in the Sahara desert. Though I don't know what they're fertilizing... besides, there's a fine line between demonstrating and getting your point of view known without resorting to violence. But that is all Shabia knows, violence. In the past 25 years, it has attacked every neighbor and also turned on it's own helpless and poor population. The only language that Shabia with it's stinking head Issayas knows is violence. The gun is the answer to everything. You're the idiot for your blind support to someone that is killing your people.

  25. How fast we forget history, huh? Doesn't matter though. The truth is always written in stone and no lying SOB can erase it. About the other BS you said, according to you, only because this indian witch and her gsngsters said something, it's automatically true, like in this case, being threatened. You're a sad individual, who consciously sides with a lie just to score a point, forgetting it always comes back to bite you. And you call them "exalted". Pfff, SHAME ON YOU!!! You'll all go to the gutter together. No liar will have a stake in the kingdom of God.

Committed Ethiopians against eritrean villagers, the UN plaied dufe.

  28. I Eritrea does not like what UN particularly the UN human right commission, why Eritrea is still a member of UN. Eritrea cancelled all major regional members in Africa. I think Eritrea sees some value in UN membership that it does not see in regional African body membership. You are right there is white supremacy in the UN and Eritrea is buying it.

  29. I think alternative and naive institution will be needed to substitute this shameful one in future, as the world view is changing toward Asia, from the west and far west..any least country any naive nationality is getting more and more aware about the unjust & unfair western institutions, for instance see the ICC or the IMf ecc..partially the lost credibility

  30. Issayas thugs got their orders from their King and slithered from all over Europe to Geneva and humiliated Eritrea. The Eritrean thugs behavior was publicly witnessed. You can't just pull reallity out of your skanky ass and argue the sky is not blue. The shame and embarassement is on you and the likes of you. Issayas has done nothing but execute one political debacle after another. Some of the major highlights are: 1) switching to using Nakfa from the Birr as currency. 2) Publicly supporting Russia's take over of the Crimea. 3) Supporting Al-Shabab and all the other terrorist groups in Somalia. 4) Insulting and threatening world leaders. And you are right, no liars have a stake in the Kingdom of God. Which means you and the likes of you will burn in hell.

  31. No surprise people like you can not fathom that people can love something (a country in this case) just for the sake of it and not to gain anything personally or because a "king" wants it. But you know what? I´m not surprised at all. You´re, after all, from the hell-hole to our South.
