Ethiopian government is plotting grenade attack in urban centers in Ethiopia, reported Ethiopian Satellite Television in its breaking news coverage this afternoon.
The report cited sources from Ethiopian intelligence sources anonymously.
Market places, public meeting and places of sporting activities are identified as areas to carry out the grenade attack and the plan is, according to Ethiopian Satellite Television sources, to announce the attack in state media and other pro-government media outlets making the attack appear as if is a terror operation by by Ethiopian rebels operating in North and North Western Parts of Ethiopia.
The report added that Gondar is one of the areas selected to orchestrate the terror plot, indicated ESAT’s report.
No further detail is available at this writing. However, ESAT announced that more details would be available soon.
