'We are building up our relations with Eritrea' - Russian President Valdimir Putin

Ambassador of the State of Eritrea Petros Zeggai Asgedom meeting Russian President Valdimir Putin

'We are building up our relations with Eritrea'- Russian President Valdimir Putin

The Eritrean Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Petros Zeggai Asgedom, has presented his credentials to President Vladimir Putin today, according to Russian state media.

During the presentation ceremony, President Putin said his country is building their relations with Eritrea, and seek to develop their trade and economic ties.

"We are building up our relations with Eritrea. We share similar approaches towards current issues on the international and regional agendas and seek to develop our trade and economic ties." President Putin said.

While Russian-Eritrean economic ties is still in its infancy, this hasn't stopped Russian mineral companies from picking up their activity. This year, Ketina Mining, a subsidiary of the Russian Gazprombank, entered into a joint venture with Eritrean State mining company ENAMCO to become the first Russian-Eritrean Mining Share Company.

On the diplomatic front, Russian-Eritrean ties seems to be more stronger. Russia has been a vocal opponent of the illegal and unjust sanctions against Eritrea. In previous UNSC meetings, it has criticized the SEMG for its lack of professionalism and politically motivated biases towards Eritrea. On its part, senior Eritrean officials have visited the disputed Crimea at invitation of the Russian Federation; a move that's been interpreted as Eritrea's support for the Kremlin.

P.S: Honorable admins, I apologize for this unusual outburst from my side to Mrs. Azieb. I usually comment on substances and not on individuals. This comment of mine however to Azieb is an exception of all. May be I want Mrs. Azieb for ውሽምነት:))) May be that is the best way to solve the current problem between Eris and Tegarus. እሞ በሉታ ደኣ ውሽሽም ንጀምር::

  8. Yes "Hejii Gerem..gena" the substance is about to come again..laugh better who laughs last, we're with all Our potentials, we are not trumpeting to the winds arrogance, superiority except humbleness and principles of integrity..as the Tigrigna proverb say "truth with time shines more as gold"..Time is coming where everything will be unveiled, dishonest will be soon ashamed, they will cover themselves or disappear, the flag of truth will be forever respected and seen as a model of beauty..

  17. Hey foot soldier, my mind is superb. It is functioning like a lightening and that is why it is even enlightening the SAWA trainee cadres(ወታደራት ሳዋ) like you here in Mereb Mlash websites. I know that it is of no use and even sometimes risky to talk to guys who were trained just in carrying in Kalashnikov for people like me who know weapons just on TV screens but I am committed to risk anything to enlighten the sons of the fast extincting Mereb Mlash tribes.
You see how much Azieb is relatively more civilized and polite in contrast to you? It is because she was not trained in SAWA like you somewhere else(probably in Addis Ababa University).
