Ethiopia Attacks Sudan Killing Ten Sudanese Troops

By StarAfrica,

Tension is brewing along the Sudan-Ethiopia border after ten Sudanese soldiers were killed in a skirmish with a militia group there on Saturday, the army and witnesses said. Sudanese farmers in Gedaref State told the {African Press Agency }on Sunday that another 13 soldiers were injured in the attack believed to have been carried out by an Ethiopian militia.

Other reports spoke of Sudan’s Paramilitary Popular Defense (PDF) amassing troops near the border with Ethiopia in the wake of the incident, the second in one month.

Sudan and Ethiopia agreed to deploy joint patrols along their common border to prevent the movement of rebels, smugglers and human traffickers.

The Sudanese army confirmed the incident but denied the suspected involvement of Ethiopian regular forces.

Army spokesman Colonel Alswarmy Khalid Saad told APA that the soldiers were killed in clashes with an unidentified Ethiopian group, describing the incident as isolated.

He said clashes between the Sudanese troops and the militias took place on the farmlands in Basonda near the border on Saturday morning.

The gunmen were attempting to control agricultural projects in Basonda, which are owned by the Popular Defence Forces Saad claimed.

According to Saad, the Ethiopian authorities have been notified of the incident.

  7. Ethiopia has strong relations with Sudan. It wouldn't even make sense. How about instead of posting things about Ethiopia all the time, you post things about Eritrea. THere was an article that came out yesterday of a 1000 Eritrean refugees walking out of Isreal back into the Sinani desert and the government sent forces to force them back into the camps in Isreal against their will. WHy dont you post that!!!!!!!

Look what's it's doing in Bologna? It's been less than a year since we lost 357 of our youth. The regime and it's supporters are gearing up to dance and celebrate until the weee hours.

I think we Eritreans should learn a lot the more we think we are unique people the more we are getting down and scattered every where . The Tigray people are the most polite and nice people who are welcoming our Eritrean brothers in Tigray regardless of the Shabia dictatorship and atrocity to our people. But still few non-sense stupid people who are full of hatred are still degrading human . Our people are the one who are beggar everywhere in Sudan, Egypt, Libya....they ask their cousins, brothers, nephews to survive and some still works as cleansers and common labourares all over the world may be some of you are still begging someone to fund you...Keep your mouth shut up and be thankful to our Tigray people Viva Tigray Tigrinya we are one people

  27. I ain't wicked person like you to politicize the victims of Lampadusa. The victims left Eritrea at their will. You cannot blame the GOE for that tragedy. God bless their soul.
The GOE don't care about the boot lickers and the remnants of jebha. Nothing wrong with Bologna 40th celebration. Are you suffering from amnesia? How do you forgot when your boss Tewelde Gebreslasei and his thugs destroyed martyrs cemetery and danced in cheerful. Do you think disrespect our martyrs is our culture? No more double standard.

Use you brain buddy, of course the victims of lampedusa left Eritrea at their "own will".....but what should they do? Stay in Eritrea to do what, with no chance, no hope, a live without a perspective or opportunities.....

So of course we can blame the government, because the government is responsible for hopeless environment in Eritrea. Did the government force these guys direct out of Eritrea, I dont think that. But the government makes the life of its citizens afwul, as a result of that- people vote with their feets....ARE YOU NOT ABLE TO COUNT 1+1=

And the reaction of ERI TV + Government on this tragedy.......JUST SHAME......How on earth can you write, nothing wrong with 40th Bologna celebration.......How dare you?

The youth of the country is dying in Libya/Egypt, in Israel in Prison, the got kidnaped in kassala.....in front of eritrea, sold like slaves.....God damit, they torture them, they rape the girls.....and the only thing on your mind is to celebrate.....

  34. I think we Eritreans should learn a lot the more we lick the tgray (woyane) behind the more we are getting down scattered everywhere. The tgray woyane are the most cruel and unkind people who are trying to exploit our Eritrean kindness regardless of our Government done to put them where they are now. But still none sence bootlickers like the above two full of greed are degrading and misuse our dignified culture of Eritreanism. Our people are the once who teach Africa how to stand against all destructors and stand tall from the ashes, unlike tgrayans who try to disrespect Eritrea and sell their Ethiopianism to call themselves Eritreans in Libya, Sudan, Egypt, EU, USA and MiddlEast for survival. Maybe most of these tegarus are still begging AWINAAREGAWI Enoy Mariam Axum not to get deported to Eritrea from Norway :) Keep your mouth shut and be thankful to Eritrean dummys who oppose their own people and government, pamper you and go to bed with you and as thanks you pay them back with your infectious desease as thanks. Yes you are one and same people.

  35. Why Agames always hanging around Eritrean websites? The answer is simple- They are leech. These twisted heart people are suffering from inferiority complex and they try to mingle among us to disrupt us from sharing constructive idea about our beloved Eritrea. Also, there are few remnant of Jebha who held grudge against GOE and a few Eritreans who lost their privilege during the Dergue regime. Therefore be strong to challenge them. They are still stuck to the old unproductive game Ama vs Midada and Zoba X vs Zoba Y. Worst of all, a few of them metamorphosed into woyane. Hence, treat all of them as sell-outs.

  40. Aha! Let me see you get entangled in your own short-sighted reasoning. Is it not because you Weyanes' refusal to implement the EEBC decision and your open declaration to change the regime that has kept Eritrea on continuous alert? You are responsible for the hardship that has been imposed on our people. It may be to your advantage in the short term, but your masters are using you around the horn to impose their will. Poor Ethiopian peasants die to facilitate the robbery of African resources. Have you ever asked yourself why they do not use their own children to do so?

So before you open your foul mouth again and insult someone check if you yourself can add 1+1. How can't you see the glaring truth that your government--the Weyane--and their masters are the ones who are destroying not only our region, but many places around the world?

The reason of many Ethiopians dying, in Red Sea, crossing to Yemen is the same to Eritreans dying in Sahara, crossing to Italy.

  68. Actually, the Ethiopian government stated publically they were sorry they could not create jobs as fast as it was needed. They even sent non stop flights to the middle east to give free flights back to their home region for any ethiopian who wanted to leave the middle east, Illegal or not. They also then implemented a Dubai economic type system where businesses from outside countries can establish their businesses in Ethiopia for very low prices if their business can employ large amounts of people at above the governments minimum wage. Ethiopia cares for its people, obviously Eritrea is killing itself when it is at a place to succeed most. They have sea and they have a tiny population. Statistically speaking, Eritrea should be flourishing, but it has less development than the state of Tigray. Mekelle, tembien, agame etc, are coming together has beautiful city. Even the somali region of ethiopia is amazing. They have more schools in the somali region of Ethiopia then all of Eritrea.

All refugees are not the same. Eventhough the resaon differs a lot there were Eritreans who left the country for medical reasons, business, scholarship and so on and many have left the country due to the hardship people faced during the war. Ask your mother and father to learn more. Not as today's youth who drop their weapon and betray the country and the flag they swear for. But fortunately there are thousands in numbers who could take care of whats left behind them. Eritrea is in good hands.

They betrayed the country so how come the Govt take the responsibility to help these people. If the Govt sympatise with those who left illegally, it means that they give a green light for all youth to leave the country that makes them not only break their own rules only but also our martyrs promise to keep Eritrea Independent.

  75. Ethiopia is not under attack, but Eritrea is. So every Eritrean is trained to defend the country from aggressors at the same time the Govt paid millions of dollars to educate those youth in boarding schools for no charge nor for their food or school fees and materials not a single penny! To the opposite the Ethiopian maids never got education/medical care from the Govt. They gathered unalphabetic young girls and boys from the street and villages and send to Saudi Arabia to clean toilets asking them to pay their loan by sending thousands of dollars to Ethiopia (Cash cow). So the reason woyane bring all refugees back home is because woyane owe these young (specifically "Effort" Meles Zenawi wife Azeb Gola) been sending 4000 of those refugees to Saudi Arabia every month and if they dont do something to bring them back home, the people of Ethiopia would make woyane's life miserable like the moslems did.

I understand that and I didn't ask you to care, what I said was the migration of people from Eritrea and Ethiopia is due to bad governance. They both oppress their people, they both are corrupted and they both stinks.

  78. Sudan, Eritrea and Egypt need to remove this cancerous regime in Addis Ababa so peace and security can be achieved in East Africa.

  80. How many times to tell you why Eritreans migrate. These Eritrean migrants misled by you and your likes to flee the country. The USA with its allied countries are attempting to weaken Eritrea economically. There is an adage, "Felitu zideqese harmaz enteneqneqo neytisiE." You are pretending asleep but I've to remind you again what President Obama said, "We are partnering with our servant countries to lure young Eritrean men and women to flee their country."

  81. So, I guess you are also trained...in case of an attack, that you can defend the country....according to you, eritrea is under attack....so, why are YOU not there to defend the country? Do you really like it, that other or other people kids fight for you, because of your cowardice?

In addition your wrote, that education (food, materials etc.) is there for free....

I guesst you or your kids benifit from this, so why are you or your kids not there to work for the development of eritrea?

  82. From which rule do you speak. To leave a country, with noooooo perspective is a right, what nobody can deny.

So, you admit, that eritrean needs a permit to leave their country.....

For me, Its really hard to understand- you, and I guess, close family member from you (wife, kids etc) have a comfortable life in Europe/America with all its blessings- but at the same time, you deny this to your cousins in Eritrea. Because, in your logic, if they leave Eritrea to have a comfortable life like you, and the only way is illegal, than there are traitors in your eyes. Am I right?

How could you leave (legal/illegal) the country? Did you come to Europe/America with a diplomat passport?

Tell me, how you and your family did it, How you enter Europe/America?

  83. Wegid hassawi! You want me to believe that you are Etirean? You pay your 2%? You went to Eritrea? HGDEF sells organs?

Who else is to blame for putting us on continued alert? The Weyane! Can the Weyane do this by itself? No, it has masters that encourage it! Every negative thing that you are crying about are the result of this very fact. And you want me to take your word as the absolute truth while you deny what is open to see for the whole world! Yes, no regime change project happens without the cia! Have you heard of Libya or Syria, the mess the people you are defending have created in Iraq? And yes, you are one of their foot soldiers! You deny the absolute truth that is staring at you with its eyes wide open!

Everything you have to say about a country you claim to be born from is negative! Don't you see the sickness in that? What do you get by demoralizing Eritreans? Why do you do that? Even if your claims were right why can't you use encouraging words that inspire people?

You are showing everyone that demoralizing is what you do best! You told them more than a thousand times that you do not have any good will towards their country! You have told us all that you are a participant in the attempt to destroy the country! The only ones who would do that are those who call themselves Weyane and they are proud of it!

By the way, where do you get the time to write uncountable replies to every article Madote writes and to everyone who has a positive view of Eritrea? I should ask how much do they pay you? Who? The Weyane and the cia! I know it would hurt! Then why did you call "Sara" a welfare recipient? Why did you call her a "child-support" recipient?

With this kind of mentality, you guys talk about lofty ideas such as good governance and democracy! You (and your friend Ariel) are the most despicable of the despicable human beings who have put themselves in opposition to the government of Eritrea!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Then act like one! Stop bashing Eritreans who stand for their country. The people and land of Eritrea are there forever! Your hatred for Eritrea shows brilliantly!

If you personally choose Ethiopia, you go there and ask for a citizenship. Let Eritreans worry about Eritrea.

I write on issues of my own priorities. I am not going to drag myself into your topics. By the way, that is the problem all of you have. You do not know anything about priorities.

For the rest consult the reply I gave to ZCruze. It applies to you too.

  85. You deprived the poor people of Ethiopia through "Effort" to get rid of as many poor as possible to wherever and now is your obligation to bring them home, you like it or not ! otherwise woyane lifeline is cut into pieces :)

  86. same to you too. why ask about beneficiaries when you are not serving the country ?

  88. @Ariel Iray mray, @Eri

    here is my answer,

first, eritrea now is not under attack (or did I miss something), hence I dont need to pick up a gun

second, I dont get this "benefits" like many other abroad, and to renew a passport is not a benefit, its just an administrative act, not more...and I pay for that, end...

    what about you?

  89. Woyane is not the represantive of the Ethiopian people; its a minority that does not even enjoy the support of the natives it claims to hail from. Two different systems and two different comparisms. Woyane is a group or band that is professing to be more ethiopian than the rest and as the same time thinks it is more Eritrean than anybody else, woyane brags if it was not for us Eritrea would not be a country now, it never ends, Mr. Justice, take a look at yourself in the mirror and spit that khat out of your mouth. Wendmu would have told you that.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Ohhh please, nothing comes from you, except useless, emotional, wannabe patriot gossip

why should I go to ethiopia, I am proud eritrean citzen. only because I do not blindly follow the government, it does not mean that I am not a eritrean. one question, DO YOU STILL HAVE AN ERITREAN PASSPORT? I guess not.....

try to make a contribution to the topics.....Ohhh I forget, you avoid to answer question, because you know exactly who is right...

you never will be authentic, because you and your family refuse to live among this GOE and its policy, with all its blessing

you are just what you are, a bigotted useless wannabe patriot, who let other suffer for his fantasy

ERITREA IS MY CONCERN, ITS THE ONLY COUNTRY I HAVE......

    ReplyDelete
  91. so why do talk so much shit about them all the time, do you think that any Eritrean does not know about their situation or are you trying to say that the Eritrean people are blind and stupid in general, and always choose to ignore the source of this problem as been a direct consequences of the evil actions of your masters. so if you are not doing anything to help them then let me ask you what right do you have to criticize other for not helping them in one way or another? you hypercritic one rule for you and another for the rest of Eritrean. this comment clearly shows that you are not an Eritrean it explains the reason why after 8 month since you still do not want to meet me. I promised you that you'll answer for your actions, how long will you hide from the truth ... sympathy without action is the characteristic of liars and two faced snakes ... I know you'll not answer but have a small pride and meet me!!
