1081 students graduate from the Eritrean Institute of Technology

The Eritrea Institute of Technology (EIT) held its 7th Commencement today with the graduation of 1081 students in diploma, Bachelors of Science; and 24 Masters of Science.
The first degree programmes span Education, Engineering and Technology, and the pure sciences. 292 of the 563 Bachelors of Science graduates are in engineering.
6100 diploma and first degree science students were enrolled at EIT this year, while 9,618 science students have graduated in past seven years.
EIT has undergone a paradigm shift this year with greater focus from teaching to research according to Professor T/Micael, the V/P of EIT.
The Institute has cultivated vast network of ties with relevant stakeholders to ensure better alignment of research with development agenda.
