  1. May God Bless You! the coming generation of Eritrea to follow the footsteps of your brothers, fathers, sisters and mothers. Eritrea and the Eritrean people are expecting a lot from you to overtake key PFDJ posts, and continue doing the same commitment as them.
Our country is already secured by YPFDJ members inside and outside Eritrea. Eritrea is for you and proud of you YPFDJ!

Long Live for the Eritrean Youth!

  2. These sheep have nothing in common with their brothers and sisters suffering in Eritrea.

This the 10th year conference. Can they name any tangible benefit they have contributed to the Eritrean nation?

"Elections of the European wide representatives"

How can you have elections when in Eritrea to consider such a thing would be considered treason.

The whole thing is a big disgrace all parties involved should be embarrassed.

  5. Berhane,
You are a very bitter man. These young people have nothing to be ashamed about. You on the other are a disgraceful morally, and probably financially, bankrupt individual. Who the hell are you to speak for all "brothers and sisters" in Eritrea, you know NOTHING about my family in Eritrea and you are talking out the side of your ass. There are many "brothers and sisters" in Eritrea who are doing well and enjoying their lives, going to school, working hard enjoying hobbies and helping their family (while in Eritrea). You and your like tend to only focus on the ones who for whatever reason are suffering in Eritrea. Go shed your crocodile tears somewhere else.
I have a lot of family in Eritrea (not in or near Asmara) who are living well and taking advantage of whatever opportunities they are given, I also have a lot of relatives who can only be described as lazy, conniving, and WEAK. They have an extremely poor work ethic, and would rather steal, lie and cheat than work hard and make the best of their opportunities.
There are plenty of people "suffering" all over the third world for a variety of reasons. I also have many friends in America who are "suffering"; they are apathetic and hopeless even though they live in a prosperous country which provides them ample opportunities to help themselves. They don’t see any hope and usually resort to selling drugs, using drugs, stealing, and being a burden on their families. Ask yourself how can that be? People are people regardless of where they are, some are lazy and hopeless others work hard to overcome adversity.
Your statements about elections in Eritrea are equally misguided. Here is a link to a video showing an election that took place in Eritrea recently and I can assure you that the residents in this video were not charged with Treason http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aU10GFPLvR0 . These young PFDJ people can elect whomever they want to elect to represent themselves as can the residents of Aba-Shawl. You are a weak narrow-minded man trying to confuse others with your nonsense.
I do not believe you have any genuine concern for the "brothers and sisters" in Eritrea or for the future of Eritrea, and I would bet that you have not been to Eritrea in the past 10 years and have no desire to in the future.

  6. Investor,
You should refrain from using statements like "no Eritrean is returning back" because it is simply not true. I know many Diaspora Eritreans (young and old) who are currently back home contributing to the Eritrean society and economy, just because you do not personally know them does not mean they do not exist. I suspect that you fully understand that the absence of evidence is not evidence of absence and that you are probably just talking out of the side of your ass for your own reasons. It is funny that you call yourself "investor" but you probably don't have the means to invest in anything practical or constructive so you are limited to investing your time to comment sections on the internet. Good luck with your future investments.

  7. Only jealous people like see others faults, stop being against Eritrea people whom you don't know.
We are not interested about Ethiopia go hell with your dirty divide and rule policy of diaspora. Let alone to return to Ethiopia they are migrating like a flood.
Refrain from Eritrean website and paste your comment in agamino website.

  8. How many sheep do you have at home?
Do they belong to your sisters and brothers?
Do you buy every ten years sheep?
How do you select when you buy your sheep?
Is it a treason to buy a sheep without informing woyane?
It is a disgrace if woyane are not involved when you try to buy sheep?
You don't have mandate to comment on behalf of the Eritrean youth.
    Qondaf woyne! A criminal shepherd!

  9. Why don't you serve your nation?
Are you working with Ethiopia or......?
Are you allergic to the truth or lies?
How much do they pay you when you......?
    When chilling ........and why ?
To which country or nation do you belong?
    How often do you self-criticize?
Are you always pumping and plumbing flat tiers?
I think you are in the wrong website. You better find yourself somewhere else if not on earth perhaps on mars.

  10. You just proved my point, you guys are allergic to critisesm. And yes I do critsise my self, that's how I better myself not telling me I am great when I know I am not, there is always place for improvement. I am Eritrean I just happen to hate the opposition for them working with Ethiopians. For your info yes I do help out, I did go back home and worked for free. But was disappointed with lots of things, was sad to see the young people suffering, the kids begging in the street (especially when they know you are diaspora ) so what I am saying is even though there has been progress in the country in some aspects the failiur in others should make us question and ask for change, and not use the same excuse of the west and Ethiopia. You know what I learnt the most in my stay in Asmara. The people of Eritrea do not need the government, we have the most hardworking, civilised and educated people in Africa, they just need to be free to do what they like, be free to do business , travel, be more prodctive not in chains working for daim

    ReplyDelete
  11. Yohannes,

You seem to have good intentions and I am glad that you went to Eritrea and worked for free (If what you claim is true, to which I have many doubts). Aside from that you have some very contradictory views on Eritrea and Eritreans, most of which I disagree with entirely. Many of my relatives have worked national development projects in the country and they were not in chains (literally or metaphorically). When you use sensational overly dramatic language like that, you lose credibility and contribute to a false narrative.

  12. All that mumbo jumbo and couldn't even answer my initial question of what tangible benefit they have provided to the Eritrean nation?

10 years is a long time can't they say what they have achieved?

Haha I have been to Eritrea two times last ten years and will be going again this summer. For the first time I am scared for my own security with all the news about the kidnappings.

Was I misguided when PIA stated that anyone hoping for multiparty democracy can "go to the moon"? What power do any of those “voted” have? None.

‘The stupidest animal on the planet Earth would be the sheep. Sheep will follow other sheep, and do the EXACT same thing they do. Examples could be the walking off a bridge, jumping into a fire, or jumping in front of a car. There actually has been reports of numerous sheep jumping in a busy street by the tens. Sheep indeed are the stupidest animal on the planet Earth.”

You are simply comparing the level of contributions amongst the nationalists, diaspora do less and those inside the country do more naturally yes, but comparing the with those shamless sell outs in nothing more than comparing nutricious food to toxic ones.

Eritrea is not ruled by one man, we are all ambassadors and government of Eritrea where ever we are.

  16. info, tanks for the grown up reply, unlike the others. who called me agame just coz i said something they didnt like. thats is exactly my problem with the pfdj its the u are with me or against me mentality. i again will say this, the government has done well in aspects of education for the rural areas, health, even in some ways in building infrastructure. however with 23 years in power he development work is just not enough, hence the need for change. look at the streets of asmara when u are visiting this summer, the amount of kids outside all restaurants begging for money, look at the lack of power, electricity is just so bad, the telephone conection is bad (ezie eritelu is what u get every time u call someone ) the internet connection is horrible.

if what i claimed above then call me a on it. just ask the question is all that good enough ????
wehave the best people in the world we should not be having this simple problems, this issues could be solved so easily if we had better leadership.

for those of who will reply to me saying i am ethiopian and agame bla bla, save ur self the time, i have no time for idiots. however if you think i am wrong and you can educate me i am ready to listen.
our biggest problem is not being able to talk about our issues with out acting like a child and calling names

    ReplyDelete
  17. even though i disagree with most of what pfdj does to see, someone like you is representing them makes me feel sad, surely there are people who can talk like grownups and not through their their toys out every time they hear anything negative about them.
no one is prefect, why is it so hard for you to get any criticism . we are all humans even ur pfdj leaders

    ReplyDelete
  18. thats a fair point and u are right that it is natural that the people at home do more. my issue is what are the people outside doing? they are supposed to be the educated and more worldly ones. how can they not see the need for improvement in situations back home??? whay cant they ask for more, instead of talking about our leadership like they are holly than god. its clear to see the shortcomings of the gov so why cant they mention that, why no questions about transition of power?
thats my big problems with ypfdj

    ReplyDelete
  19. The way i see it YPFDJ (with leadership above 40 years old), is just a gathering for some youth to socialize than a political youth org. The diaspora kids go there just to have fun and party nothing more, many of them doesn´t even understand the Tigrinja which Monkey and other speaks. Ofcourse Monkey and other use this youth for their own agenda and show the youth at home about the support they have. The ironic thing is Issays and Co. repsect and take care of this youth much more better than the youth paying their live to protect the country, what a shame.

  22. Berhane,

You call what I wrote to you “mumbo jumbo” which is your little way of dismissing it. It is common a defense mechanism used by people who are confronted with truths that they are not willing to accept. Trust me, I get it.
I can’t address the question you asked regarding the tangible benefits achieved by YPFDJ over the past 10 years. I am not affiliated with the organization and have not bothered to contact anyone from the organization or do my own research. I had no intention of answering your question. I just wanted to address the many inaccuracies in your original post, which I did. If you really want to know the answer to your question then you should start by emailing the organization directly instead of posting questions anonymously on the internet. Don’t be weak.
Can you name any tangible benefit you have contributed to the Eritrean nation (over the past 10 years)?

  23. Apologizes for long post, this was my original post

"These sheep have nothing in common with their brothers and sisters
    suffering in Eritrea.

This the 10th year conference. Can they name any tangible benefit they have
    contributed to the Eritrean nation?

"Elections of the European wide representatives"

How can you have elections when in Eritrea to consider such a thing would be
    considered treason.

The whole thing is a big disgrace all parties involved should be embarrassed"

These five sentences have many inaccuracies??

    Please name them to me?

While you at it consider the following:

What percentage of Eritreans youth have dual
citizenship and are free to leave Eritrea at any time? <1%

Did any of these YPFDJ go through Sawa/National Services requirements? NO.

Is Eritrea a single party state? Yes. That means the person at the top with power does not change. Everyone below PIA is a just a figure head/puppet/slave.

“Can you name any tangible benefit you have contributed to the Eritrean nation (over the past 10 years)?”

I don’t think I have brought no real tangible benefit other than sending funds to support my cousins who are salves in the National Service program. Past 10 years at average of
$300USD/Month equates to~ $36K USD. That is not counting my 2% funds which I stopped
    remitting after 2009.

“If you really want to know the answer to your question then you should start by emailing the
organization directly instead of posting questions anonymously on the internet.”

I have emailed them multiple times but I never get any response. It’s because they don’t have
answers to my questions. I am hoping someone on this Madote website can enlighten
me. While they are at it can anyone tell me how this event is financed? How much did it cost to book the venue? How much is each participant paying? Does any money raised go back to Eritrea? How much money does the Government of Eritrea spend to host this event?

  24. To whom is out his path regarding what this young generation is doing or what have done in the past:

Most of these young brothers graduates with master degrees and once they finish their study the go back Eritrea for a civil service. Only few nations in the world have this unique experience and one of them are Eritrea. I'm not popularizing this reality just get information about international journalist like dr. Vincent Gassana, or dr. Toni Locher what have to say about this incredible people.

  25. i agree with you, however i think the organisation has failed, there is so much potential among the Diaspora however the organisation has failed in so many levels to full capitalise, organisation and use this wealth effectively - i think the organisation failed to even come near in aching it basic Objectives to represent and thus use this potential asset.

  26. Berhane,

Your post contained many inaccuracies which I addressed in my original post to you, go reread my OP.
You are a very simple minded confused individual. On the one hand you are questioning the YPFDJ's tangible achievements to the nation of Eritrea as though you honestly care about the betterment of the nation. A nation which according to you is controlled by a government that has enslaved your cousins (surprisingly the government has not enslaved your aunts, uncles, nephews or nieces. I find it odd that only your cousins are in National Service, but I suspect most of what you wrote is lie). Why would you care about what YPFDJ is doing to better the nation when anything that benefits the nation will also benefit the government who controls the nation?
I am well aware of your true intentions and the reason behind your use of loaded and emotive terms such as “slave” (i.e. wage slavery). Your views are not commonly accepted by Eritreans at home or in the Diaspora. I for one, being a genuine Eritrean would never equate National Service to slavery just as I would never equate a low paying minimum wage job to “wage slavery”. You are only on this comment section for propaganda purposes and I could teach a class on propaganda from your writings alone. You are using every trick in the book to propagate your ridiculous beliefs. You have attempted to demonize YPFDJ, present a black-and-white fallacy, label those you disagree with (sheep), name calling (sheep), loaded language (slave), hyperbole, and the list continues.
Don’t waste my time with your lies and propaganda and do not bother responding to this post intending to get a response from me.
