Ethiopian Regime is Amassing Tanks
By Girma Alemu | Abbay Media News
Truck drives from Djibouti to Ethiopia reported, on 02 April 2017, several low-bed trucks loaded with tanks have left the port of Djibouti to Ethiopia.
Eye witnesses said, they have seen close to 200 tanks off loaded at Djibouti port and some of the tanks have already left to Debre Zeit, Ethiopia loaded on low-bed trucks. Presently there are over 7 million Ethiopians who are starving due to drought. Instead of loading emergency food aid and save lives, the regime has given priority to load tanks and leave its citizens to die of starvation.
Observers say; there are signs indicating that the regime is trying to divert the attention from the political quagmire that it is in at present by starting unnecessary war with neighboring Eritrea. The speech that Mr. Hailemariam Desalegn gave in Tigray by saying we have designed a new policy for Eritrea is another indication of war mongering, observers say. It is also indicated; the regime’s repeated advertising efforts to recruit soldiers have fallen on deaf ears.
