Alexander Isak becomes the youngest player to score a goal for the Swedish national soccer team


Eri-International sports update on Alexander Isak's activities for the past month shows that this young man is for real. While on break from the Swedish Premier league, there has been a lot of speculation as to where he will end up in a trade. Alexander has been closely linked to many of Europe's top teams including Real Madrid, Chelsea, Bayern, Juventus, Paris St. Germain, Liverpool, Everton, Manchester City and many more. There are also many second level teams who have been attempting to get him by promising more playing time. His team AIK Stockholm is taking the value of his skills very seriously and have opted to wait before making an official trade. With the trade deadline coming to an end at the end of January, we shall wait and see which team will spend the most amount of money for Alexander.

Alexander gets selected for the Senior Swedish National Team.

Until recently Alexander had only played with the under 17 Swedish National team, however in early December while he was vacationing in Thailand with friends, he got a call from the Swedish National team coach that on January 3, 2017 the Senior national team will be travelling to to Abu Dhabi to play friendly games against Ivory Coast and Slovakia. Coach Janne Andersson was very excited to see him play as the young Eritrean-Swede had fully justified himself in his ability to perform on the field. He was an obvious choice even though he was very young. AIK Coach Rikard Norling confirmed that while he is still evolving as a player, he was ready to be a part of the national team.

Alexander makes his debut with the senior national Team of Sweden at age 17.

The teenage forward dubbed the heir to Zlatan Ibrahimovic became the youngest Swedish international in more than a century when he came on as a substitute in a 2-1 friendly defeat to Ivory Coast on Sunday January 8th, 2017.

Challenging the Elephants of Ivory Coast a pretty strong team getting ready for the African nations cup, he was able to hang with the best of them. At age17 years and 109 days, Alexander became the second youngest player ever to wear the yellow and blue colors of Sweden in the 2-1 loss against Ivory Coast. While it would have been nice to see him wearing the Eritrean colors, he continues to be an inspiration to many young Eritreans, Swede and other youth.

Alexander becomes the youngest goal scorer in Sweden's national team history.

Alexander Isaac made history today January 12th, 2016 for Team Sweden. He started the game as a forward and at the 19 minute mark after he made his debut he scored a left footed goal to give Sweden a 1-0 lead against Slovakia, making him the youngest scorer ever in the history of the Swedish national team.

Based on live observation from Eri-International sports blog, the young Eritrean-Swede talent received the ball with his back to the goal while he was inside Slovakian penalty box, he quickly turned around and hit the ball with his left foot. While this trip to the gulf was historic, it has also proven once again that this young man with Eritrean roots is a player to be reckoned with. Many more teams will be watching him as his advisors get closer to making a final decision of which team he will end up with.

One thing that fans can be assured of is that he is a level headed young man. Most of his contact is with his Eritrean family as he does not even speak directly even with his agent. He is very well looked after by his brothers who are professionals and he can go on playing the sport he loves and is good at while inspiring millions of people, especially young people. Look out world; Alexander Isak is ready to roar like a Lion.
