More than 14,000 Ethiopian civilians including 268 children crossed into Eritrea territory in the last three weeks.
The latest surge of Ethiopians crossing into Eritrea was “due to oppression” by the minority Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) against the Amhara and Oromo ethnic groups.
The refugees from Ethiopia include over 1600 Tigrean ethinc, and housed in two refugee camps in Zoba Gash Barka.
