Construction of Eritrea's 2nd largest dam is underway in Gahtelay

Construction of a dam is underway in Gahtelay, according to Berhane Medhane, who Works in the Ministry of National Development.
No details were provided of the project other than the dam will likely become the second largest in the country.
Since independence in 1991, Eritrea has built 366 dams and water reserves that have the capacity to hold over 40 million meter of cubes of water.
