[Video] Over 400 Somali and Ethiopian migrants drowned off Egyptian coast

According to BBC Arabic, over 400 migrants, mostly from Somalia and Ethiopia, are feared to have drowned after four rickety boats carrying them capsized off the Egyptian coast.

Rescue workers have reportedly managed to save 29 passengers from the waters after the shocking incident.

Social media users have claimed the migrants' boats had started their journey in Egypt with Italy being the intended destination, a route favored by many smugglers.
