President Isaias to visit Saudi Arabia on Sunday

Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki arrives Sunday for an official visit to Saudi Arabia for two days of talks with Saudi officials, including King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Interior Minister Prince Mohammed bin Nayef and Defense Minister and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and a number of Ministers, on a number of issues led the fight against terrorism and coordination between the two countries not to allow any foreign interventions in the matter.

Sources described the visit to the kingdom as "important", adding that the talks would focus on Saudi Arabia and Eritrea on "ways of strengthening relations and cooperation between the two countries and development in various fields and review what has been achieved at the level of military and security cooperation agreement between the two countries in April last year to fight terrorism and illegal trade and piracy in the Red Sea and not to allow any foreign interventions in Yemen."

Eritrean President reviewed, during his visit to Saudi Arabia in April, the bilateral relations between the two countries, and developments on the regional and international arenas in addition to the situation in Yemen and the security of the Red Sea.
