India invites President Isaias Afwerki to the Third India–Africa Forum Summit

India is inviting Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki to attend the Third India–Africa Forum Summit, according to Telegraph India.
The invitation was given despite persistent requests from the Ethiopian dictatorship to not invite Eritrea to the summit.
India's rebuff is likely due to Essel Group India's recent acquisition of Canadian company NGEx Resources’ Bada potash exploration licence in Eritrea, where the company aims to start its first phase of drilling in October.
The third summit is scheduled to be held in New Delhi, India from 26-30 October 2015.
