My name is Yohanna Rezene Araya, 19 years old Eritrean, born and raised in Asmara.

I am writing to request any possible financial support that required raising fund for the vitally needed medical treatment in a Belgian Hospital (Cliniques Universitaires Saint - Luc, UCL Bruxelles).

Throughout my educational years, I have always been a top student. It is my desire to become an Engineer someday, and have been preparing to achieve this goal. Sadly I was diagnosed with Leukemia, just at the inception of my second year College study. Despite my all eagerness to continue my studies, I have been forced to halt it. Without your support, I would be unable to realize my dream and get rid off this merciless disease.

I have been accepted on the aforementioned hospital for treatment. However, the total cost for the treatment demanded by is EURO 35,000.00, an amount which is beyond me or my family can afford. As my life is endangered the only  remaining option I posses is to ask for your generosity.

With this regard, the Eritrean community in Belgium has taken an initiative and opened a blocked bank account on my name for this purpose. Please see below details related information. I have also enclosed a letter from the hospital indicating the cost of the treatment.

ዮሃና ብቀጻሊ ተሓምም ስለዝነበረት። ሕክምናዊ መርመራታት ክትገብር ናይ ግድን ኔሩ። ሕማቕ ኣጋጣሚ ኮይኑ ግን ውጽኢት ዝገበረቶ ሕክምናታት ኣዝዩ ዘሰንብድ ኮይኑ። እቲ ሕማም ናይ ደም መንሽሮ (Leukemia cancer) ክኸውን ከሎ። ኣብ
ሃገርና ክትሕከም ተኽእሎ የለን፣ ስለዚ ኣብ ወጻኢ ከይዳ ክትሕከም ናይ ግድን ኢዩ፣ ዮሃና ኣብ ወጻኢ ከይዳ ክትሕከም ግን ዓቕሚ የብላን፣

በዚ ምኽንያት ብምትሕብባር ሚኒስትሪ ዜና ብ3 ጥቅምቲ 2013 ኣብ ERI-TV ብምቕራብ ኩነታት ሕማማ ብምግላጽ። ኩሎም ኣብ ደገ ዝነብሩ ኤርትራውያን ህይወታ ንምድሓን ክተሓባበርዋ ተማሕጺና፣

ንሕና ኤርትራዊያን ነበርቲ በልጁም ነዛ ዕሸል መንእሰይ ንምሕጋዝ። ኣብ ብራሰልስ። በልጁም ዝርከብ Cliniques Universitaires Saint – Luc, UCL Bruxelles ዝበሃል ሆስፒታል ክሕክማ ሓቲትና። እቲ ሆስፒታል ሕክምና ክገብረላ ቅሩብ’ኳ እንተኾነ።
ነቲ ሕማም ንምፍዋስ ከባቢ 35,000.00 ዩሮ ከምዝውደኣላ ኣፍሊጡና፣ እቲ ገንዘብ ድማ ንሳ ቅድሚ ናብ በልጁም ምምጸኣ። ነቲ ሆስፒታል ክኽፈሎ ከምዘለዎ ሓቢሩና፣

ኣብ በልጁም ንነብር ኤርትራውያን ውሑዳት ብምዃና። ነዚ ኣብ ላዕሊ ዝተጠቕሰ ገንዘብ በይንና ስለዘይንኽእሎ። ንኹሎም ኣብ ደገ ዝነብሩ ኤርትራውያን ነዚ ቅዱስ ዕላማ ክተሓባበሩና ንጽውዕ፣
